Fernlea Green Energy (FGE) Fernlea Green Energy is a solutions company willing to partner with you to build and operate Energy-from-Waste facilities that can convert municipal waste, including medical waste, plastics and sewage, into totally ‘green’ electrical energy. Our technology will have an immense and far reaching impact with respect to how efficiently electricity is generated, waste stream management, the elimination of landfills and reduction of the emissions of greenhouse gases. Steam Reformation Technology Our state-of-the-art Steam Reformation (SR) technology will efficiently convert waste into a syngas that is similar in utility to natural gas, without direct combustion, while avoiding toxic emissions into the atmosphere. Additionally, SR produces mulitple revenue streams derived from the production of the syngas including electrical pwoer, industrial commodities and fuels such as ethanol, methanol and higher hydrocarbons. Our plants are self powered, scalable and will be constructed to compliment the surrounding topography. Since our process is environmentally benign, facilities can be located in close proximity to urban areas and can support a population base as small as 50,000 people.
